I am currently researching musical awe as part of my Masters in Music & Sound.
I am specifically looking at three areas:
Music production and the elements within tracks that create this feeling
Composers, artists and producers whose tracks have these elements in
The elements of the emotion of musical awe and what factors heighten the experience.
Awesome tracks
Musical awe has been described as an experience that is subject to individual differences, but I wonder if there are tracks that we can agree on that evoke that feeling? Here's my playlist but I'd love to hear the tracks that give you a feeling of awe.
